Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)

Dear Delegate,

I’m Yusuf Alhaj, and I will be serving as your ECOSOC President at the very first AQMUN. Saying that feels truly surreal. This conference is going to be incredible, and I can’t wait to experience it with all of you.

As your chair, my role is to support your growth, challenge your thinking, and ensure that every voice in the room is heard. Whether you’re feeling anxious, excited, or a mix of both, I’ll be right there to guide and support you. I’m genuinely looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and building this experience together.

I hope that this conference, and ECOSOC in particular, becomes something you look back on, not just for the debates or resolutions, but for the friendships, the confidence, and the sense that you were part of creating a truly momentous event.
