UN Disarmament Commission (UNDC)
Dear Delegates,
My name is Adam Sabbah, and I am honored to serve as the President of the Disarmament Commission at AQMUN 2025. I am currently a Grade 12 student at Amman Baccalaureate School in Amman, Jordan. Having participated in Model United Nations since the 9th grade, I have come to deeply appreciate the role of diplomacy in shaping our world. It is a privilege to now be on the other side of the committee room, and I look forward to working alongside our distinguished Deputy President, Zein, and Chair, Amr, to create a dynamic and respectful environment for all of you.
As your President, my goal is to foster a space that encourages thoughtful discourse, mutual respect, and intellectual curiosity. I believe that the most rewarding committees are those where every delegate feels empowered to speak, challenge ideas constructively, and build bridges across differences. Whether this is your first conference or your tenth, your voice and perspective matter. I hold professionalism and inclusivity in high regard, and I hope our sessions reflect these values throughout our debates.
I sincerely look forward to meeting each of you and witnessing the effort, passion, and diplomacy you will bring to this committee. AQMUN is not only a platform to discuss global issues but also an opportunity to grow as leaders and global citizens. I am confident we will create a memorable and impactful experience together.
Warm regards,
Adam Sabbah
